Willowbrook
Nestling the muted and textural qualities of the English countryside within a Jackson Hole log home, Willowbrook’s design takes its cues from the client’s time in the Cotswolds.

Formerly dark timber walls, stripped and lightened with a tonal stain, emphasize the soft tactility of the material and allow natural light to wash the interior spaces. Historic salvaged limestone runs through the entry and kitchen floors, gently guiding visitors into the home.
The individual character of each material is emphasized – from gritty, long-wearing hexagonal masonry tile in the bath and laundry rooms, to elevated twisted-leg furnishings which walk the line between contemporary woodwork and traditional handicraft.

Atmospheric softwood, bold moments of color, and fine-woven details line the interiors of this 5,700 square-foot home outside Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Evoking the English countryside, CLB’s design team utilized salvaged materials, heritage patterns, and bespoke millwork to renovate a family home that will be valued for generations.
Vintage Persian rugs were hand-picked to soften the edges of the home’s main gathering spaces, with patterns of wear which recall centuries of footsteps. Custom millwork for the kitchen and laundry room borrows its color from the rugged log walls.
