Teton County Justice Center
- Jackson, Wyoming
- Video and Renderings: Anderson Mason Dale Architects
CLB Architects, serving as the local architect, is collaborating with Anderson Mason Dale Architects, the Architect of Record, and the Town of Jackson on the Teton County Justice Center — a once-in-a-generation civic project that will stand as a lasting symbol of safety, justice, and community in downtown Jackson.
The three story, 80,000 square foot facility consolidates the County’s essential judicial and public safety functions. The program includes the sheriff’s offices, multiple courtrooms, detention housing, district court clerks, county attorney, and a public gallery. Each component is functionally organized to ensure safety and security, while promoting positive engagement with the surrounding community.

The overall design palette aims to reflect the regional vernacular of Jackson, by balancing robust materials of blackened steel, with natural, warm wood materials seen throughout the neighborhood - establishing a highly dignified structure with an approachable presence. Public-facing spaces are thoughtfully articulated through porches, setbacks, and sheltered areas that invite gathering and moments of refuge, enriching the pedestrian experience while strengthening the building’s connection to the surrounding community.
The Teton County Justice Center is envisioned not only as a functional civic cornerstone, but also as a meaningful expression of place, identity, and community for the Town of Jackson.
