Bio

Growing up in a family of architects, artists, and builders, Charlie’s interest in architecture and design was nurtured from a young age by those around him. Raised in the mountains of western Virginia, he developed an affinity for the area’s vernacular architecture, which elegantly bridges between the natural and built environments.

Charlie graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech, where his thesis studied the same architectural concepts that initially piqued his interest. He joins CLB with a continued interest in these questions and a newfound fascination with the landscape and culture of the mountain west.

When he’s not in the office, you can find Charlie exploring – backpacking, biking, and snowboarding – in the national parks that make Jackson so unique.
