Inspired by: Born and raised in the Florida Keys, Brooke’s love for architecture and design was sparked by the natural environment surrounding her hometown. Lining the coast of the Florida Keys is the Great Florida reef, that houses a great diversity of animals, corals and organisms while also protecting the coasts. This underwater city tied in closely with her interests in the built environment and how the two environments coincide. Brooke took inspiration from the connection between the natural environment and the built environment. Influenced by this relationship, she knew she wanted to pursue a career where she could create a space that reflects elements of the surrounding environments.
