Jonah Gorder

Administrative Assistant

Bio

Jonah hails from the outskirts of Portland, Oregon where he developed his passion for photography and architecture. Growing up in a myriad of environments, urban, coastal, rural, and mountainous, each helped form an interest in how humans interact in these distinct spaces. Throughout his life, he has been surrounded by artists, photographers, designers, and antiquarians which has guided his love for documentation and attentive design.

Jonah started his photography praxis at Montana State University to pursue his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film & Photography. Working in the mediums of digital, analog, and archival photography, his work is highly influenced by his fascination with social behavior and contemporary practices such as emotional disconnection, self-identity, and the obsession of eternal youth. Shortly after graduation, he returned to Montana State University to complete a degree in Interior Design to broaden his design language and blend all mediums. Jonah will be completing his degree in the Spring of 2022, with the aspiration of becoming a full-time Interior Designer. In the meantime, Jonah works as the Administrative Assistant for CLB’s Bozeman, Studio. Outside of work and design, you can find Jonah enjoying the beauty and nature that Bozeman has to offer, with snowboarding, skateboarding, camping, backpacking, and hot springing.
