Bio

Kyle strives to create work that is beautiful, honest, and connected to place. He is intrigued by art and architecture that engages human instincts and hints at physical phenomena.

Kyle graduated from Auburn University and completed his thesis at Auburn University’s Rural Studio. Kyle developed a belief that a building’s design and construction should reflect its natural and cultural environment. After graduation, he moved to Mississippi, where he gained experience creating civic buildings that help shape the public good. His professional education developed his design ideology that architecture should interact not only with its surroundings, but also with humans, forcing us to become more aware of ourselves and our environment. Kyle joined CLB in 2021, where he works on both public and private projects and continues his education as a citizen architect.

Having spent his entire life in the South, Kyle drove from Mississippi to Montana to experience new surroundings and cultures. He, his wife, and his bird dog enjoy exploring their new environment in Bozeman, from the mountains to Main Street.
