Inspired by: Maya is inspired by the ability of architecture to enhance and engage with the natural world, enabling its inhabitants to do the same. Growing up on the east coast, Maya spent much of her childhood exploring the ecosystems that surrounded her. Drawn to the ephemeral qualities of the natural environment, Maya strives to create similar experiences in architecture through the use of light, sequence, and materiality.
